We will be joining our sisters and brothers throughout the state in taking our worship, service and presence outside of our walls on September 11th. Our major service project will be the landscaping at the Scotland County Care Center and the Residential Care Facility. We will also be hosting a tea for the residents and staff of the centers. Our youth will be distributing quarters to the patrons of the car wash. We will also be hosting a time of family oriented games on our east lawn. And finally, we will wrap up the day with ice cream and fellowship at the church.
The actual schedule looks like this:
8:30 to 9:15 Worship and orientation in the Fellowship Hall.
9:15 to 9:30 Refreshments and picking up of t-shirts (if you haven’t already done so).
9:30 to 1:00 We will go to our projects;
